2025 Participant Biographies
Amy Harlacher, LPC, is a Specialist Clinical Counselor in the pediatric-adolescent Gender Health Clinic at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, serving the needs of transgender and gender-diverse children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She completed her undergraduate degree in Religion-Philosophy and Humanities from Roberts Wesleyan College and earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Shippensburg University. She received post-graduate training in Couples and Family Counseling and completed the Level 3 Training and Practicum in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Ms. Harlacher worked in community mental health and independent practice prior to her role at Penn State Hershey. She is an active member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and is currently pursuing certification.
