2025 Participant Biographies

Bonnie's passion for hair removal originated from serious health challenges during her adolescence, leading to excessive hair growth, which caused immense damage to her sense of self. During her college years, a fortuitous encounter with a compassionate electrologist profoundly transformed, not only her life, but the vision she would have for her future. It was through this experience that she discovered her true calling…to help others in the same way she had been supported.

Following her graduation from college, Bonnie enrolled in an electrolysis program in 1989, where she would soon meet Jill. Their partnership quickly evolved into a professional collaboration founded on a shared empathy they innately felt for others, and a commitment to excellence. Together, they have fostered an environment where clients feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

In 2016, after attending the first Keystone Conference, Jill & Bonnie’s Electrolysis and Laser expanded its vision, excited to reach out to, and formally welcome the LGBTQ community into their supportive circle. Over the past few decades, the practice has served countless clients, from all walks of life, creating a legacy of transformative experiences and feelings of deep gratitude.
