2025 Participant Biographies

 

Imani Hayes
She/Her/Hers

Imani Hayes is the Program Manager for Project TEA (Trans Empowerment in Action), the first all trans/non-binary staffed grant in the state of NJ at NJCRI. A graduate of Rutgers University with a B.A. in Journalism, she has 5 years of experience helping transgender individuals, living with & without HIV, with their medical care and achieve their gender affirming goals. Imani's passionate about empowering her clients to unlock their potential and achieve meaningful results in both their personal and professional lives. Her passion enables her to assist my clients in gaining clarity, setting realistic goals, and developing actionable plans to overcome obstacles and achieve success.
