Friends of Bill W is a peer led recovery gathering for anyone whose relationship with alcohol, drugs, or any other compulsive patterns, has made life feel unmanageable. This is a space to come together honestly, share experience, strength, and hope, and to remember that healing does not happen alone.
The name honors Bill W., a co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, and the spirit of recovery he helped ignite. While many who attend may walk other recovery paths, Friends of Bill W is not affiliated with any organization, programs, belief systems, or causes. We are not here to debate, persuade, or define recovery for one another. We are here to listen, to reflect, and to find freedom from active addiction in all its forms.
No prior experience with recovery is required. Newcomers are welcome. This meeting is for anyone who wonders if something in their life has taken too much, and who carries a desire for change. All who enter are met with respect, confidentiality, and compassion. What is shared here stays here.
Together, we walk a shared path toward freedom, guided by honesty, connection, and hope.
