Mrs. Suzie Petersen
She/Her

I am a lifelong part time crossdresser starting before my teens and now in my mid sixties. I have been married for 40+ years and while the dressing has caused significant up's and down's along the way, my wife is now accepting to some level, even to the point of us having been on several vacations together where I presented female the entire time.

Like many in this community, I have developed over the years, from being scared of my own shadow to now comfortably going out in public as a female on my own, just doing every day things such as grocery shopping or going for a hike. Over the last couple of years, my confidence level has increased significantly even to where I now feel comfortable traveling by air, which I have done a number of times. I enjoy meeting others and have been to large events such as SCC in Atlanta and to Keystone. In addition, I also meet with friends around the country now and then for weekend or week long gatherings in girl mode.

I love the experience of changing everything about me to look as much as a female as I possibly can. This includes of course the clothing, footwear and suitable padding, and also makeup and hair. I do not have the option of using my natural hair any more, so I have been wearing wigs for many years to complete the transformation, and I enjoy the many options that offers. Being an engineer by trade, and a curious and inventive type, I like exploring beyond just putting a wig on, and like to understand all the options including some way beyond the basics modifications of a wig to fit and look best.
