Retiree Fairfax County Public Schools.
She/Her
A retired English teacher from Fairfax County VA, I started transitioning in 2015. I live full time now as my true self having undergone gender affirming treatments and multiple surgeries. I live a quiet life in Corry PA where I enjoy playing folk music, golf, following politics and staying connected to my children, their spouses and my grandchildren. I have had a lifelong interest in gender studies with extensive reading in trans autobiographies, biographies, academic studies and film.
I met Masha Leah Davis at the Lake Erie Gala in 2018 and we have remained friends ever since. In 2024 I attended her workshop on Religion and Transgender at the Keystone Conference. This led to extensive late night conversations in the room we shared. I am honored to join her as a co-presenter at Keystone 2026 where I hope to support her work and follow her lead in expanding our understanding of the role religion plays in our shared transgender experience.
